දම්සයුර ආරණ්ය සේනාසනයේ නිර්මාතෘ සහ ප්රධාන අනුශාසක පූජ්ය නාවලපිටියේ අරියවංශ ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේ, වර්තමාන සමාජය තුළ දහම් පිපාසයෙන් පෙළෙන පින්වතුන් උදෙසා මහත් ශාසනික මෙහෙවරක නිරතව සිටින මහා යතිවරයාණන් වහන්සේ නමකි. ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේගේ දේශනා ශෛලිය සරල, ගැඹුරු මෙන්ම ප්රායෝගික වන අතර, බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ වදාළ පිරිසිදු ශ්රී සද්ධර්මය නූතන තාක්ෂණය භාවිතා කරමින් ලොව පුරා විසිරී සිටින දහම් ලැදි පිරිස් වෙත සමීප කිරීමට උන්වහන්සේ කැපවී සිටිති.
මෙම වෙබ් අඩවිය තුළ අන්තර්ගත සියලුම ධර්ම දේශනා පූජනීය නාවලපිටියේ අරියවංශ ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේ විසින් විවිධ අවස්ථාවන්හිදී දේශනා කරන ලද ඒවා වන අතර, එමගින් ගිහි පැවිදි දෙපිරිසටම නිවන් මඟ පැහැදිලි කර දීම අරමුණයි.
Founder, Chief Incumbent and The Spiritual Guide
Venerable Nawalapitiye Ariyawansha Thero is the founder and Chief Incumbent of Damsayura Monastery. Known for his profound yet accessible teaching style, the Venerable Thero is dedicated to sharing the authentic teachings of the Buddha (the Sri Saddhamma) with a global audience.
All Dhamma sermons hosted on this platform are delivered by the Venerable Thero. His mission is to leverage modern technology to bridge the gap between ancient wisdom and the contemporary world, providing spiritual guidance to both monastic and lay practitioners seeking the path to liberation.
රක්වාන, මාණික්කවත්ත ප්රදේශයේ, සිංහරාජ වැසි වනාන්තරයට යාබදව පිහිටි, රමණීය කඳු පන්ති වලින් වටවූ පෙදෙසක, සෞම්ය සිසිල් දේශගුණයක් සහිත, නිහඬ වටපිටාවක පිහිටි දම්සයුර ආරණ්ය සේනාසනය, පූජ්ය නාවලපිටියේ අරියවංශ ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේගේ මූලිකත්වයෙන් 2015 වර්ෂයේ අප්රේල් 04 දින ආරම්භ කරන ලදී.
අද වන විට මෙහි චෛත්යය, බෝධීන් වහන්සේ, විහාර ගෙය, ප්රධාන ආවාස ගොඩනැගිල්ල, ධර්මශාලාව, සීමා මාලකය, පුස්තකාලය, භික්ෂූන් වහන්සේලාට වැඩ විසීම සඳහා වෙන් වූ තනි කුටි, දානය පිළියෙල කිරීමේ ගොඩනැගිල්ල, දායක පින්වතුන් සඳහා වන නවාතැන් පහසුකම් මෙන්ම ප්රථමාධාර, වැසිකිළි, නානකාමර සහිත සනීපාරක්ෂක පහසුකම්වලින් ද ඇතුළු සියලු අංගයන්ගෙන් සමන්විත ආරණ්ය සේනාසනයකි.
භික්ෂූන් වහන්සේලාගේ ශාසනික ප්රතිපත්තියට ප්රමුඛත්වය ලබා දෙන අතරම, ප්රදේශයේ ජනතාවගේ මෙන්ම, දෙස් විදෙස් ගිහි පින්වතුන්ගේ ආධ්යාත්මික සුවය උදෙසා සිදුකරන විවිධ ශාසනික සේවාවන් සඳහා ද අප සේනාසනය මගින් සුවිශේෂී දායකත්වයක් ලබා දෙයි.
Damsayura Buddhist Monastery is located in the serene and picturesque landscape of Manikkawatta, Rakwana, adjacent to the Sinharaja Rainforest. Surrounded by scenic mountain ranges and blessed with a temperate, cool climate, this forest hermitage was founded on April 4, 2015, by Venerable Nawalapitiye Ariyawansha Thero.
Today, it has flourished into a complete monastic institution featuring a Stupa, a Bodhi Tree, a Shrine Room (Vihara), a Main Residential Building, a Sermon Hall, a Consecrated Boundary (Sima Malaka), a library and private monastic dwellings (Kutis) dedicated to the residential practice of the monks. The monastery is further equipped with devotee residential quarters, dedicated alms preparation facilities, first-aid support, and modern sanitary amenities.
While prioritizing the monastic code and the spiritual practice of the monks, the monastery also makes a significant contribution to the spiritual well-being of the local community, as well as lay devotees from both Sri Lanka and abroad, through various religious services and Dhamma programs.
බොහෝ දෙනාගේ භෞතික වූත් ආධ්යාත්මික වූත් සුවපහසුව, සැපය කැමැත්තෙන් දම්සයුර ආරණ්ය සේනාසනයේ භෞතික සංවර්ධන කටයුතු, දම්සයුර දහම් සේවාව, මූල්ය කළමනාකරණය සහ පින්කම් කටයුතු විධිමත්ව පවත්වාගෙන යෑම සඳහා දම්සයුර දායක සභාව නිරන්තරයෙන් කැපවී සිටියි.
The Damsayura Sasana Mission
With a sincere wish for the physical and spiritual well-being of the Sangha and the community, the Damsayura Dayaka Sabha (Lay Custodians’ Council) remains dedicated to supporting and maintaining the Monastery’s infrastructure, its Dhamma outreach services, financial affairs, and the organization of religious ceremonies.
